Shipping Policy
All orders ship from our workshop at 47 Thames Street in Bristol, Rhode Island.
1. Order processing
We process orders Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Most orders are picked, packed, and handed off to the carrier within 1–2 business days of being placed. You'll receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
2. Domestic shipping (United States)
We ship to all 50 U.S. states, plus U.S. military APO/FPO addresses, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico.
- Standard Ground — $6.95, delivered in 3–7 business days. Free on orders over $75.
- Express — $16.95, delivered in 1–3 business days.
We use USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on the destination and order weight. The carrier is chosen at our discretion to provide the best combination of speed and reliability for your address.
3. International shipping
At this time we ship to Canada and the United Kingdom only. International shipping is calculated at checkout based on package weight and destination. Delivery typically takes 7–14 business days, depending on customs processing in the destination country.
Customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or taxes assessed by the destination country. We are required by law to declare the full retail value on all customs forms.
4. Tracking your order
Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number and a link to the carrier's tracking page. Tracking information usually updates within 24 hours of pickup. If your tracking doesn't show movement after two business days, please email hello@bristol-mfg.com and we'll look into it.
5. Lost or delayed packages
If your tracking shows your package as delivered but you cannot find it, please first check with neighbors and around your property — carriers occasionally place packages in less-obvious spots. If the package is still missing after 48 hours, contact us and we'll work with the carrier to file a trace and, if needed, reship or refund your order.
For packages that appear genuinely lost in transit (no tracking updates for 10+ business days), we will reship or refund your order at our cost.
6. Shipping restrictions
We currently do not ship to PO Box addresses for orders over 5 lb, or to freight forwarders. Some remote locations may require an additional 1–2 business days for delivery beyond the windows quoted above.
